Maybe. But they don't have to rub it in Hope's face. But they probably will.

I definitely see an I told you so coming especially from Ridge. This is going to blow up in Deacon’s face in the worst way.

Ridge is already saying it. Liam said the people are sitting back waiting for the failure. Ridge is not sitting back, waiting on anything. He's been vocal this whole time, so it's not him Liam is talking about -- even though Ridge will be there for the "I told you so" for sure.

Ridge & Steffy have both told Hope it’s a mistake to let Deacon back in. Ridge has been getting push back from Hope every step of the way. Steffy has left it alone but her opinion on Deacon hasn’t changed. So I definitely see Ridge & Steffy feeling vindicated. I don’t know about Taylor. She seemed friendly with Deacon but they dropped that whole story.

I'm not sure I'd say "vindicated." What Liam said is that they're waiting to say "I told you so." That's a really crappy thing to be trying to do to someone or to say to them if their father hurts or disappoints them. But yeah, that's probably Steffy and Ridge for us. I hope that Liam is wrong and they handle it with compassion the way the characters did about Taylor giving Sheila a chance.

It may be that Steffy and Thomas use it against her in the custody case. They can say Douglas shouldn't live with Hope in case Deacon comes around. Which would be ridiculous, of course, considering his grandma is an attempted murderer.

Plus, Thomas chased Emma and contributed to her death. Taylor also killed Darla while driving after drinking. Ridge tried to claim Douglas as his son. The judge would probably love to hear those stories.

I would love to see the judge's face if Hope told him/her that Thomas wanted to trade Douglas for a night of sex.

Or Hope left Tom in toxic chemical went home to bed…and Hope got knocked up by a still married guy
