Steffy has a weird definition of "love of sb's life"

A simple question would be - if Taylor is truly the love or Ridge's life, why isn't he with her? And, the easy answer would be, Taylor is NOT! Taylor is and always will be Ridge's rebound.

An equally simple question is : If Brooke, his current legal wife, is truly the love of his life, why is he hesitating to go back to her ? Why is there a choice between his wife and Taylor ?
Brooke was rebound for Caroline then Taylor for decades … maybe B&B is putting her back to her real place : fun interlude between women of more substance
There’s no question Ridge IS the love of Brooke’s life … Brooke is his oldest love but she was not first, nor his second but the third choice
