Ridge doesn't need to CHEAT on Taylor to prove she is not the love of his life. He DUMPED her and REJECTED her over and over for Brooke. Originally, he only married her because Caroline died and Brooke was married to Eric.

When Caroline died Brooke was NOT married to Eric. Ridge wasn’t interested
Brooke was separated and begging Ridge to take her back when he married Taylor
Brooke and Eric were not together anymore when she had Bridget. Ridge could have accepted Taylor’s offer of an easy divorce. It was the perfect out
Maybe Taylor isn’t his choice anymore, we will see, but back in the day she was.

He can't cheat on Taylor since Morgan because he was never with her to begin with. 3 brief reunions based on manipulations and he chose Brooke every single times. He didn't stay with Taylor long enough to cheat on her.

But during their previous 3 marriages he could and didn’t.

Ashley, Donna, Katie, Bridget, Quinn, Caroline, Shauna,... all these conquests you mentionned have Brooke in common. None of them are the love of his life because they all wanted him and he wanted Brooke. His Logan is THE common denominator in all of these relationships.

If he wanted Brooke, why choosing Katie over her ? Choosing to marry Caroline over her ? Cheating on her with Bridget, Shauna Quinn ?
