Thomas DID take advantage of Caroline. She was semiconscious and unable to consent when he crawled into bed. The fact that they dated for a cup of coffee before Caroline married Rick didn't give him the right to involve himself in his father's relationship. Thomas was 100% in the wrong.

I agree! The way it was shown was "taking advantage" at least...where I live it would probably verge on rape.
Caroline was not in the condition to consent and she cried and screamed when she woke up the next day.
Later they changed the narrative and had Caroline say that she wanted it too, but by what we were shown...no, she didn´t.
