A One-Woman Reminder

During her rambling session where she mostly said nothing, Hope mentioned being pulled towards a "one-woman man" and then looked towards Liam. It was another subtle reminder that the underlying problem that ended Lope is that Liam isn't a one-woman man. That's irreparable. That can't be fixed. A man who openly admitted to being incapable of being a one-woman man can't magically turn into one nor can he expect a woman he put through the ringer to believe him if he tries to sell the idea.

I don't see Liam trying to sell Hope anything and I don't see Liam trying to reunite with Hope. What I did see, however, was Hope asking to be number two after Beth's birthday party, and as you pointed out, she was looking at Liam with askance, so.........she'll take second chair, I'm sure.

Hope has always wanted Liam back. I’ve always thought that at any point during her relationship with Thomas, if Liam had taken her back she would have dropped Thomas like a hot potato. Even now, after all her talk about how Thomas loves only her and her new “perspective”, she’d take Liam back.

Yes, I completely agree. She acts like she STILL doesn't know why she couldn't accept the proposal, but standing in the room with Liam, the answer screams out very loudly. I think she keeps going on about her feelings with Thomas to get a rise out of Liam, but it's not working. He's not biting. Maybe he'll feel it when Thomas returns after he and Hope have spent family time together, but as of right now, he's not fazed.
