No that's not what she said. She said she wasn't in love with him but that she was hurting and needed time which is perfectly reasonable. She asked him if he could handle that [an undefined physical relationship for right now] and then locked the door. Hope just needs time for her emotions to settle.

I love your optimism Taker...I really do....but friends with benefits does not usually end well for the party that is in love with the other. Hope said she is not in love with Thomas....but the important part was....she didn't even tell the poor schnook that she loved him at all, even as a friend, a co-worker, a step-brother or Doug's dad....that was very LOUD but unsaid in the room today. For whatever reason....Hope is just h**ny for Tom...and that is IT!

I am going to say something I did not think possible until today...I felt sorry for that poor pitiful psycho. On one hand he is going to get a lot of sex, on the other, he will be getting very emotionally unfulfilling sex. And eventually he is going to be getting the boot.

Yes. If they were on equal footing mentally there would be nothing wrong with it, but that’s not the case. If she’s that convinced she doesn’t love him that she declares it as definitively as she did today …and God knows she should know by now…and she knows he’s desperately in love with her and has been working on getting over his obsession with her and is capable of making some poor choices when he’s desperate….it’s selfish in terms of risking his mental health and unwise in terms of her own future safety when she undoubtedly reunites with Liam or finds someone else she thinks she could love. So I take back calling her horrible. She’s horrible and stupid.

Yep. I figured from the first moment steffy said Hope was going to make Thomas regress, that this is where they were going with it.

I'm convinced more than ever that she was using steffy and Liam as an excuse so she could blank thomas. This scene proves it for me. Because if she really wanted her marriage back and she was really in love with Liam on top of it, what is she trying to have booty calls for? This woman needs to really seriously sit down and think about what in the world she wants to do with her life instead of what she wants to do between her legs.

And what's the likelihood she has a condom in there?

Oh, that would be too safe using a condom and this thing with Thomas isn't about being safe. It's about letting it ride and let the consequences fall where they may.
