No that's not what she said. She said she wasn't in love with him but that she was hurting and needed time which is perfectly reasonable. She asked him if he could handle that [an undefined physical relationship for right now] and then locked the door. Hope just needs time for her emotions to settle.

He'll take what he can get from her. That's sad. He should want more for himself.

Hope should want more for herself.

This is definitely not like Brooke. I don't think I've ever seen Brooke behave like this. Brooke has always prided herself I'm going after a man she believes she's in love with. This right here...smh

This is BREACON all over again with a twist.

I thought the exact same thing watching it today....right down to the sex in the office...but you are right, there is a twist....Brooke and Deacon told each other they had love for each other, eventually....but it still ended with his heart broken and her being resolute they would never be together again...and they never have been.

Thomas is Deacon now.

Without the I love you or have love for you.
