Why Thope is worse than Breacon to me

Agree. And I don't see Hope as being cold. I see her being tortured by her internal struggle.


It's funny because I see coldness in Hope when she's yelling and disparaging her mom and her husband. The only time I don't see her as being cold is when she hanging out with Thomas.


She's definitely cold towards Brooke. She's cold towards Liam when they argue, but other than that she looks in love with her husband imo. With Thomas she looks like she's mentally ill.


I'm not feeling the "in love" with Liam when she's with him right now or even when she's talking about him and their marriage. I know she loves him because she always will but it looks like she's faking it and forcing it. She is clearly wanting to be with Thomas more than she's wanting to be with her husband.


I do. The way she smiles when she has memories of their intimate moments etc makes me see the love. The way she desperately wants to stay with him... The way she never had thoughts about Thomas before he saved her stupid line... But that's just how I see it. I just don't see anything romantic with Hope looking mentally ill in front of Thomas and acting like she is going to have a meltdown while horror music plays in the background. Occasionally hearing Brooke's words in her head when she is around Thomas is also pretty creepy.


I'm a bit conflicted about what Hope is actually thinking about when she's remembering intimate moments with Liam. But, basically, I disagree with you. Hope is not acting like a woman who values her marriage, values her husband and values her family. And she hasn't acted like that in a long long time. I agree that she's desperate, but not in the way you described above. Right now, from where I'm sitting, Hope is desperate to keep herself tied to Thomas. Why that is I have no idea. But, given a choice with Liam standing there and Thomas standing beside him, I have no doubt that Hope would move towards Thomas.


That's how I see it. I'm not sure why she would even be desperate to stay with liam. She's married to him. That should not be in jeopardy. That should be the easiest relationship to keep up with besides her relationship with beth. But I do believe she is desperate to keep Thomas around at any and at all costs. She's even started to speak in terms of we, not meeting her and liam, but meeting her and thomas.
