Why Thope is worse than Breacon to me

I wish the show wouldn’t treat it as if they have already had an affair. Hope is behaving as if she’s had sex with Thomas and it’s so tragic. I will never like Thope but I am so tired of this part of the story. They are showing Hope seeing Thomas while with her husband. She acts like she’s haunted. She’s being deceptive. About what? It’s too much.
