My guess is that Thomas just interrupts Brooke and Ridge and Brooke goes running to Hope with no actual proof that Thomas did anything.

Why would she do that if she doesn't know anything? She's not going to "go running" to Hope and say, "Oh, oh, I was begging Ridge for answers, and we were interrupted!" Brooke doesn't go running to anyone, but she sure seems determined to find out why Ridge left like a horse's behind, with no explanation. I don't blame her. If he wanted his precious annulment papers signed, I sure wouldn't sign them until the dummy told me why. Then I'd ban him from the property, unsigned papers and all. After what he's done, all Ridge deserves is Dr. Dummy and their evil spawn. Having to live with those messed ups will punish him very severely.
