Taylor doesn't betray her children. That's a Brooke thing. I'm not sure why people are so certain Brooke would never ever do it again. She had two affairs with her sister's husband. That's not a lot better.

Taylor most certainly betrayed her children. She did it to Phoebe when she slept with Rick and got engaged to him. She did it to Tom when she proved to him he was not important to her, when she gave Steffy all her FC stock and not 1 share to him. Taylor is a one child woman, and that child is Steffy. She really does not give a damn about Tom, and I don't think she cared much for Phoebe either. IMHO. And BTW, I am not saying this to be just contrary, I absolutely believe that this character has been written to have very little love for her children, other than Steffy. She carried Jack to term, but could not love him because he came from Brooke's egg. She knew Phoebe had very strong emotions and feelings about Rick, but she slept with him anyway, and even worse, Phoebe caught them in bed. At least Bridget never had to see Deacon on top of her mother. Though what they did was horrible. And Tom, I think most of Tom's issues stem from being betrayed by his mother. She betrayed him when she called INS on his wife. She betrayed him when she gave all her stock to Steffy.
