According to Steffy, Brooke doesn't love Ridge (Never did)

Hope bringing Steffy’s history was just deflecting
And Hope couldn’t contradict Steffy about Brooke s scandals …

She could have, because most of Steffy's accusations against Brooke were lies, like the cheating on Ridge with Eric and Thorne. She just chose to debunk Steffy's claims with a general statement about Steffy making up her own version of the truth instead of discussing every single detail.

Too bad she wasn’t allowed to bring up the not so old mask boink …

How would that have made Steffy's point that Brooke can't be faithful and always feels attracted to other men? Even Steffy knows that Brooke never felt attracted to Oliver at all and thought he was Ridge.

Steffy’s faults don’t change the fact Brooke kissed Bill and Deacon while married to Ridge and lied about it.
She had no intention to tell about Bill (and yes bridge were separated BUT had planned to reunite)

She had every intention to tell him right after their reunion party, which took place only two days after the kiss. Quinn just beat her to it, the same way as Steffy and Thomas beat her to it when she had decided to confess about the NYE kiss.
And Brooke never believed that Bridge reunion after her kiss with Bill would happen in the first place, because Ridge had made it 100% clear that she would have to forgive Thomas first, and she knew she couldn't do that.

When Steffy cheats on Finn now they’re married the comparison can stand.
When his inhibitions were lowered by alcohol and pills, Ridge sex cheated on Brooke with Caroline and Taylor : that prooves he doesn’t love her too ?

By the time Ridge slept with Caroline he hadn't even told Brooke yet that he loved her, they were only casually dating. So that wasn't cheating. And Ridge being so out of it after taking the pills that the show made a point of showing us his totally blurred vision before he slept with Taylor can hardly be compared to Steffy having a few drinks before sleeping with Liam, gushing about the night the next morning and never giving us any reason to doubt that the sex was fully consensual.

After decades of chasing after Ridge Brooke STILL has to seduce the men around her. Her behaviour is still tacky and classless (mask boink).

When was the last time Brooke has tried to seduce anyone who wasn't her husband? And even if you think the mask incident was classless, that already happened more than a decade ago, so it's absolutely no reason to claim she's STILL like that.

Bridge still fight all the time about everything bc they don’t have the same values.

The only thing they keep fighting about are their kids, which has nothing to do with not having the same values.

Ridge isn’t THAT happy with Brooke … maybe his flashbacks said it all : sex for Brooke, closeness and laughter with Taylor.

Well, I could as well argue that those flashbacks were so different because he simply doesn't desire Taylor physically and only loves her as a friend who knows how to cheer him up. He didn't even flash back to the Monaco kiss, which seems to be the only thing Taylor can think of whenever she's daydreaming of Ridge. So even their flashbacks aren't compatible, while Bridge always remember the same scenes when they are thinking of each other.

Does Brooke love Ridge ? She sure wants him. But does she put HIS happiness first ? She NEVER did. And that is the definition of real love.

Seriously? Then what did she do other than putting his happiness first when she banned Deacon from her property?
She also put his happiness first when she gifted him to Taylor and agreed to speed up the divorce after Thomas' lie about sleeping with her. Or when she accepted his decision to marry Caroline and never even tried to interfere in their marriage, just to name a few of many examples.

Brooke KNEW he was in love with Caroline and vice versa but she wanted him for herself so she manipulated to get him.

Ridge and Caroline were neither married nor engaged at that time and Caroline was already dating Thorne. It's not like Brooke was trying to break up a happy couple. She truly thought that Thorne would make Caroline happier than Ridge ever did. She would never have interfered if Caroline had been miserable without Ridge. That doesn't mean what she did was right, but it wasn't a purely selfish deed either. She thought it was the best for everyone, while Steffy, Thomas and Taylor don't care about Brooke or even their half-brother RJ's happiness at all, only about their own.

She KNEW he proposed to her on the rebound thinking Taylor had cheated on him with Thorne and was expecting his child. She knew it was hurting him but all she cared about was getting her claws on him.

As far as Brooke knew, Taylor was done with Ridge for good and fully intended to keep the secret about her baby's paternity forever. So why should Brooke have been the one to tell Ridge? Sure she took advantage of the situation, but why should she have made Ridge even more miserable by rejecting his proposal when it looked like Taylor still wouldn't have taken him back?

When Ridge refused to leave his tridge family after the horse interruption, Brooke threatened to leave LA with Rj unless Ridge returned to her : she was ready to deprive Ridge and RJ from each other bc SHE couldn’t stand to see Ridge reunited with his first family
Brooke so called love is SELFISH. So no it’s not real love iMO

Taylor left town as well to live on another continent because she couldn't stand to see Ridge with his other family. And it's not like she left her kids behind out of selfless love for Ridge. She simply couldn't take them with her because they were already adults living their own lives, so she was depriving her kids of their mother instead and wasn't even there for them when they were fighting for their lives in a hospital bed several times. How is that any better than depriving your kid of his father?

It's funny how the mask incident is brought up against Brooke when Ridge wasn't even mad at her over it. I think he may even have been a little amused, IIRC.

The Posse Boink is weak sauce; everyone knows how that shook out, no matter how ridiculous. So, Brooke unknowingly had sex with Oliver; let me clutch my pearls and run to the morality police. Sure wasn't like two someone else's we know that knowingly and willingly and with their eyes wide open stepped out numerous times.

Right, and I think the mask story can actually be used as an example of what's going through Ridge's mind in this current story. He knows that being with Brooke comes with a certain amount of drama. It can be exasperating at times. But it can also be exhilarating. It's called passion. With Brooke he gets passion. With Taylor he gets calm. Like lavender and melatonin.

So exhilarating to know your wife was banged against a wall like a vulgar streetwalker in the middle of teens …
