According to Steffy, Brooke doesn't love Ridge (Never did)

I think the problem lies elsewhere...to me it seems deep down Steffy is not happy...yes, she knows she should be, she just experienced her own miracle when her husband returned from the dead...but we all can see that this is not enough for her to make her happy.
And the way she treated Hope, condescending and rude, shows us the reason...deep down Steffy knows Finn is not the love of her life...when she woke up from the coma she immediately called Liam her sweet husband, and even when she found out that Finn was her husband and that he was dead she did not want her mother to help her through her pain but Liam....making him even stay overnight because it seems no one else could help her, not her mother, not her brother, not even the kids being with her...so now she wants at least Brooke to lose Ridge too like she lost Liam...Steffy was always on a crusade against "the Logans", always trying to take a Logan´s man away. She didn´t succeed with Liam so at least Brooke should lose Ridge...

I think the problem is that she's evil. That's what the writers are telling me. Every soap needs villainous characters who lie, manipulate, and hurt people. They're writing Steffy as that kind of character, IMO. When you think about it, hasn't she always been written that way, since she was aged up? There was a brief period of time when she was written differently but that was when Hope was not on the show. Before and after that she never went too long without reverting back to manipulating. Steffy is just not a nice person. She's bitter and vindictive and hateful. And her hatred is based on losing Liam to Hope.

Very good points in both posts, but I would also say that Steffy unfortunately learned a lot at her namesake's knee, and that contributes a lot to who she is today. When Taylor was dead, and Brooke was raising the Tot's, they were all pretty decent kids. They had a happy, normal life, and they all seemed content and grounded. It wasn't until Taylor returned from the dead, and once again wreaked havoc on Brooke and Ridge's happiness, and took over mothering those kids, that they began to change and have problems. Thomas particularly was a sweet young boy, but just look at him now. And there are simply no words for Steffy, who has completely gone off the rails, and quite frankly, seems unbalanced.

But it is really neither here or there; Steffy is gonna believe the history she needs to believe, no matter how much in fantasy it is based. I do continue to wonder why Ridge humors her, because he knows it is utter nonsense, but Ridge has always enabled her. So let the poor thing have at it; she is only making herself look like a fool and has no one but herself to blame.
