Ridge is such a pompous hypocrite

Ridge wants Deacon to not have any contact with Brooke whatsoever, and even wants Deacon to not have contact with his daughter Hope. At the same time, Ridge can rub up against, hug and kiss his teeny bopper, half-clad ex-wife any time he wants to. I wonder how Ridge would react if Brooke told him not to be around Taylor, Steffy and Thomas. All three of his family members have done violent acts. All three have killed people whether accidental or negligently. What if Liam were to use that to get full custody of Kelly and Hope decided that she did not want Kelly around the Forresters the way that Ridge does not want Hope around Deacon? I wish Brooke would get tired of the prison warden (Ridge) in her house and throw him out. He makes demands of Brooke that he is not willing to live up to himself.

Ridge's problem with Deacon isn't about violence. He doesn't think Deacon would ever physically harm Brooke, Hope or Beth. He has said many times that it's about the emotional havoc Deacon keeps wreaking in the lives of people Ridge cares about and all his empty promises of being a changed man everytime he is in LA, which is something Ridge isn't wrong about at all.

I will tell Ridge like Michael Jackson told us, "I'm starting with the man in the mirror...."
