Ridge is such a pompous hypocrite

Ridge wants Deacon to not have any contact with Brooke whatsoever, and even wants Deacon to not have contact with his daughter Hope. At the same time, Ridge can rub up against, hug and kiss his teeny bopper, half-clad ex-wife any time he wants to. I wonder how Ridge would react if Brooke told him not to be around Taylor, Steffy and Thomas. All three of his family members have done violent acts. All three have killed people whether accidental or negligently. What if Liam were to use that to get full custody of Kelly and Hope decided that she did not want Kelly around the Forresters the way that Ridge does not want Hope around Deacon? I wish Brooke would get tired of the prison warden (Ridge) in her house and throw him out. He makes demands of Brooke that he is not willing to live up to himself.

I am starting to think that either A. Ridge has multiple personality disorder or B. He thinks Taylor is a little bit of a whackadoodle who never got over him, and he feels sorry for her.

This guy clearly stated last week :

Brooke: Oh, okay, it was real. So, does that mean you have real feelings for taylor?

Brooke asks him flat out

Ridge: No. I don’t– I, well, I, no, I– I do have– yes, I have feelings for her, she–

Brooke: Yes?

Ridge: Yes! She’s the mother of my children, I was married to her, of course I have feelings for her. But this is not– not like the feelings I have for you. The– I love you more than anything.

There you have it, he loves her as the mother of his children, but not like he loves Brooke

[ Brooke laughing ]

Brooke: Well, I love you more than anything.

Ridge: Yeah?

Brooke: Yeah. Mm. Okay, look. I know that you have forgiven me for a lot of kisses. So I am going to forgive you for this one kiss with taylor.

Ridge: Okay.

Brooke: Mm-hm.

Ridge: And thank you.

I'll go with he feels sorry for her. All I see is indulgence. And I think Brooke knows this that's why she's not worried. Taylor's letting him get away with it so why not? If she's reading more into his actions that's on her. He has clearly told her he loves his wife and is staying with her. She even had a huge tantrum over it where she dropped the fruit bowl. If she's still holding out hope then she's an idiot. What am I saying? She IS an idiot, regardless!
