Joint Custody (50/50) isn't enough for Thomas

Apparently, Thomas has joint custody, but he has chosen, for some reason unbeknownst to US the viewers to not take advantage of it, to not spend as much time with Douglas as he has ALREADY been allotted. Hope made it clear that she doesn't hinder or hamper that relationship. So it's on THOMAS for the reason he and Douglas do not see each other.

It's poor writing because the show seems like it's never gonna tell us why Thomas stopped stepping up with his joint custody. Additionally, he said he "let" Liam and Hope make the majority of the choices for Douglas. Well, with Joint custody, that's Thomas' fault, too. He just fell off the damn parenting wagon. Sure do wish the writers would tell us why.

The thing I dislike the most about what Thomas said today was how he felt about Liam being a father figure to Douglas. That's going to happen anytime there are step-parents. Liam is grateful to Finn for his role in Kelly's life. I can't imagine how Steffy would feel if Liam said that about Finn and if Liam decided he was going to be the primary parent for Kelly.

I wish Liam would do it.

I want Liam to do that too, if this all becomes an issue. Time for the Spencers to go after a little payback on the Faux Forresters. LOL

I wish kids weren’t hurt during this bickering but they always get hurt
