Joint Custody (50/50) isn't enough for Thomas

Thomas said he didn’t like Liam having the primary father role, and he’s right. Liam is part of Douglas’ life, but not to supplant Thomas.

I didn't hear anyone say anything about "primary father role" today. He told Hope that he had to be the primary parent, NOT HER.

As for his statement about Liam -- Hope said Liam has treated Douglas like his own. Thomas said, "And that's the problem. Douglas is my son." Oh, no. That's the way wrong way to look at something like this. Step parents SHOULD treat their stepkids as their own.

Thomas is his father, so he should be the primary parent. He shouldn’t be having access or permission or visitation to his own son.

And Hope is the LEGAL adoptive mother and should be the primary parent. He didn't have to ask for permission. He chose to. He didn't have to just have visitation. He chose to. They said TODAY that he had LEGAL joint custody. As I said in the OP, it is Thomas' fault for slacking off and not taking full advantage of his JOINT custody agreement.
