Joint Custody (50/50) isn't enough for Thomas

I have come to believe that the point of the story is not the custody. It’s disjointed with gaps. It’s just a tool to break up Bridge. What’s irritating is that they don’t have to work so hard. The fans are for it.

They could have used the Tridge kiss to break up Bridge. It would have at least made one fan base happy. It makes no sense to make such a big deal about that kiss only for Ridge to tell Brooke he loves only her and not Taylor. If I were a Tridge fan that would have royally pissed me off. And most Bridge fans are already pissed off and don't want them together. If they're using Doug to separate them after having the perfect opportunity with the kiss and not using it, the writers are even worse than I thought. After such a contrived storyline, by the time Tridge finally do get together I don't know if anyone will even care about them.

It makes a lot of sense. If this ends up with Ridge back with Taylor, it appeases the Bridge fans to know, Taylor is only second choice, and he told Brooke she was all he wanted, who he wanted to be with, only her. That means, they are going to do it again. Tridge almost to the altar, or even married, and he will dump her again to be with Brooke. This time I don't think it will be another man, I think it will be Sheila doing something to Brooke, that will make Ridge go and save her, and realizing, siding with Tom was not worth losing the love of his life, and visa versa. Taylor played by KA has never been dumped by Ridge, it is just her initiation into playing the character and maybe, changing the destiny of the character and she never looks back at Ridge again, after being humiliated, again.

They did this when he dumped Brooke to marry Taylor at the fake heart attack wedding. He immediately after the wedding ran to Brooke to tell her he was confused, and wanted her to wait, and she told him to hit the road. She then became involved with Nick, and Ridge could not stand it, and he and Taylor had issues over it, and he dumped her when she confessed to sleeping with James and being a judgmental witch to Brooke, when she herself was a cheat. He dumped Taylor and went back to Brooke after the Man'Horse wedding, and he did it very clever, he gave her the choice to stay married knowing he loved Brooke more, or to break it off with him. She broke it off and he ran out the door so fast to Brooke, Taylor's hair blew in the wind he left behind. LOL
