But she did let Ridge go to prison. She heard it on the radio (she said it) Ridge had been arrested and thrown in jail for Bill's attepmted murder. Did she come back to LA and turn herself in? No. She didn't.
How can she claim to love a man after she let him be handcuffed and locked up for something she did? I could never look her in the eyes again if I were Ridge.

It's in the dialogue that Taylor did return with the intent to clear Ridge after she found out he was arrested but on her way back to LA she heard that he had been released. That's when she went directly over to Bill's to confess she was the one who shot him.
