Taylor does not love Ridge and I will have this in my mind every time she says so. The father of her children, the supposed love of her life was in jail for an atrocity SHE did. And she chose to keep quiet.
It isn't even like Ridge turned himself in to protect Taylor. How could Taylor know Bill would lie and pretend the shooter was Ridge? She heard it on the radio and she didn't even lift a finger. She only returned to LA weeks later after Liam convinced Bill to change his version.
As far as I'm concerned it directly disqualifies them as a couple. I literally shiver every time Taylor says she loves Ridge or claims she would never let him down or betray him. Letting an innocent person in jail and not turn yourself in is bad enough. But the fact that it was the man she pretends to love makes it ten times worse.
I could never be with a person who did something so cruel and then let me vegetate in a jail cell for it. Cheating on a husband/wife is bad, this THIS is another level of betrayal.
Even if the writers decided to pretend it never happened, it doesn't erase it. Even if Taylor and Ridge remain just friends and never get back together, their friendship will still look fake.

Ridge has NO PROBLEM with that. Maybe he willingly protected Taylor knowing she shot Bill bc he told her Bill abused Steffy

I am still rooting for Bridge even if I don't agree with everything they do... But I'm sure of one thing. If Ridge commits a major crime and Brooke is thrown in jail instead of him and he still doesn't come clean and he lets her behind bars, I would never see this couple the same way again. Even if they aren't together. It would be the final nail in the coffin.

I never could root for Bridge bc of their forced beginning, Ridge pining for Caroline and making love to her while with Brooke, his reaction to her pregnancy and choosing to cancel the wedding plans once she miscarried. Then icing on the cake, Ridge rejecting Brooke, the opportunity to raise Bridget when Brooke had BLF to offer as a bonus … only to plan a chosen baby with his wife …
