What happened on the Forrester roof is a good one to begin with. Liam found out Beth was alive and decided to tell Hope the truth so what was the best option? Push Liam and get rid of him once and for all and then kidnap his own wife and separate her from her daughter. In just 1 episode he tried to destroy the life of the 2 people who saved his son.

Douglas wasn’t in danger and lope are not his saviours
Now if Douglas wants to live with his dad, lope shouldn’t interfere
