When Did Brooke Become an Invertebrate

Seriously. I don't like Brooke. I've made no secret of that. I've said she can't control her libido and has no boundaries but I've never said she was stupid, until now. She made the concession in her reunion with Ridge. She banned Deacon from the entire property thus making significantly more difficult for her daughter to have a relationship with her father. She's asked nothing from Ridge in return. Not only has she not asked him to limit his contact with Taylor but she's actively encouraging him to have contact with her. She sat there today and let him go on and on about his "concern" for Taylor and even agreed with him. Even if she wasn't sincere she was still willing to make Ridge believe she is. What happened to her backbone? Is she that desperate to keep Ridge that she will say and do whatever it takes and allow him to do and say whatever he wants as long as he's in her bed?

Well Taylor & Ridge don’t have the past that Deacon & Brooke have. Their love wasn’t a betrayl & Tridge lived as a family for years. They have a bond. Deacon & Brooke don’t have that kind of history. Also, Brooke knows that Ridge won’t stay away from Taylor. She’s not going to ban him from ever seeing her and it won’t work cause Taylor lives with Steffy. So some battles are better left alone. I see Ridge is already gearing himself up to play rescue ranger. Oh Taylor is so vulnerable & I don’t want her to fall into the wrong hands, blah,blah. I’m laughing just thinking about what an azz he’s going to be about Taylor & Deacon friendship. This is going to be a trip.

And unless she's the stupidest character ever created on any soap, Taylor knows Ridge is ultimately going to choose Brooke, even if she doesn't take him back some day. Taylor knows she will always be a very distant second best, if that. Ridge might give Taylor some false "warning" about Deacon, but ultimately, he doesn't give a rat's behind who Taylor invites into her bed. She slept with all those anonymous - even to her - men from the docks, and Ridge didn't care. Had it been Brooke, he would have been frantic with jealousy.
