When Did Brooke Become an Invertebrate

Deacon is a criminal who has served jail time.

Yes, He went to jail for attempted murder. However Taylor is a criminal who tried attempted murder who didn’t serve any jail time and fleed from any justice being served. Brooke is aware of it and maybe she doesn’t want her around her grandchildren considering that history. Not to mention the murder that Taylor actually has committed when she mowed down and killed Darla.

I do believe that they are double standards. I do believe that although Ridge might be annoyed at the thought of Deacon being around he really does not have the right to dictate who can be around considering he has Taylor around and he is aware with Taylor did. As far as I’m concerned right now Taylor, the baby buying, drunk running and attempted murderess seems to be the more dangerous criminal than Deacon. At least he served his time what exactly did she do beside get away with it for the second time?

You're quite right of course. But this post is about why Brooke doesn't issue an ultimatum to Ridge regarding Taylor. I think Brooke is acting completely in character by not doing that. She has always been way too forgiving, almost to a fault. She has never thrown Taylor's past in her face, although Taylor and her kids do that to Brooke all the time. Sometimes it is annoying, I will give you that. I wish she would give back as good as she got. But that would be totally out of character for her.

Regarding Brooke promising that Deacon will not be around, I didn't see that as only capitulating to Ridge. As I mentioned in another post, she herself was initially not happy about having him around. She only gave in when Hope insisted. So it's not too far fetched for her to go back to her initial way of thinking and realizing she was right after all.
