When Did Brooke Become an Invertebrate

Deacon is a criminal who has served jail time. Even though Brooke cannot change that he's Hopes father, she has zero reason to have him in her life personally. It's not like they had a great relationship or marriage and were happy for years. It was a sordid period of her life that she would rather forget. So it makes sense that Ridge would not want Deacon near their property and Brooke would agree to it. She was against Hope keeping a relationship with him in the first place when Hope revealed she had been in touch with him. She only came around later.

What has Taylor done to deserve such banishment? She was Ridges wife for many years. They had 3 kids together and were happily married. In fact if Brooke were to suggest something like that she would look jealous, insecure and immature. I'm glad she has accepted that Taylor will always be a part of Ridges life and is fine with that. Ridge has made it clear since Thursdays episode that Brooke is who he wants to be with. There has been zero doubt shown in his words or demeanour.
