Eric and Donna Are Creepy Together

Ditzy Donna and Quinn are close to the same age, on paper. Donna behaves in a way that makes her seem like a high school senior. At some point she needs to start acting her age.

Perhaps behaving like a sex starved sex kitten is the only way Donna thinks she has to act in order to snag a man.

I doubt Donna with her looks, kind heart and money has any trouble attracting a man. She is in love with Eric, and she enjoys him sexually, unlike his wife who ran around on him more than once, and long before he had any issues with performing for her.

I wish she would realize she deserves better though. She’s trying to make Eric happy because she loves him but he’s just using her. So far, anyway. I haven’t seen that he has any intention of ending his marriage. The one time she tried to ask for more she saw him withdraw and quickly backtracked. At this point I just feel sad for her.

And I really wish they would show them talking about things other than Quinn, sex and honey. Their conversations are just so monotonous. It comes across as if Eric wants Donna just because of his libido. He has no interest in a life with her nor does he want to actually talk to her and get her opinion on things. He’s just being really selfish.I

IMO, Eric is just using Donna and sadly, she's grateful to being used. He's shown no interest in her for years, but suddenly, he finds her enticing because she's able to make his pickle happy. Sex is an important part of an intimate relationship, but as you point out, their conversations consist of little beyond honey and moaning about Quinn. When Quinn busts them, Eric may make promises to Donna, but I doubt it'll last long.
