Eric and Donna Are Creepy Together

Eric is a 75 year old man. Ditzy Donna is not only a complete airhead but she acts like she's still in high school. Basically it's grandpa perving on a high-schooler with a honey fetish. It's just ick.

Ageism. Donna's in her 50s and has a body most 20-somethings would kill for. I'll take a ditzy blonde any day over a bimbo brunette with mommy issues who believes the person who is most violent is the one who should win it all.

I'm not ageist. I was the biggest Caridge fan there was so older/younger relationships don't bother me. Hell, Quinn is younger than Eric. The problem is that Donna behaves like a teenager. She acts extremely immature for her age. Quinn may have her issues but she acts like a grown woman. Incidentally I would say being made to feel unwanted and being verbally abused regularly by your mother is cause for issues.

I don't buy Quinn's abuse issues. A lot of people have or have had them. My younger sister and I were made to feel we weren't really wanted, just surprises, one year apart, but we don't go around trying to kill people or playing childish pranks (Paris' drink) or trying to ruin someone's marriage, etc., etc. Quinn is old enough to grow up and take responsibility for her actions. If she were in her 20s, I'd give her some leeway, but she left those behind long ago, though I'm sure not calling her old.

But this is "reel" reality, not "real" reality. What's more, it's Bell's reality. From the little we were given of Quinn's childhood, it was unpleasant to say the least. And I suspect there was a heck of a lot that wasn't revealed. Kid's personas are shaped in childhood. Who knows what she endured and how it affected her. It doesn't excuse her actions, but could go a long way to explain it. As for growing up and taking responsibility, tell that to the thousands of therapists and doctors who are treating patients who struggle to grow up and accept responsibility for their actions.

At least they're trying. Quinn glories in her mistakes and blunders and sins. The woman has no shame at all.
