Eric and Donna Are Creepy Together

Eric is a 75 year old man. Ditzy Donna is not only a complete airhead but she acts like she's still in high school. Basically it's grandpa perving on a high-schooler with a honey fetish. It's just ick.

I have no problem, in general, with relationships between two consenting adults who happen to have a large age difference. As long as no one else is getting hurt by their relationship. What annoys me about Eric and Donna is their asinine behaviour. Eric acts like he's desperately trying to recreate his youth while Donna is blatantly pandering to his fragile ego. This is a woman with Daddy issues. Say what you will about the right of wrong about Quinn's affair with Cartter, but it was portrayed as an intimate, passionate, adult relationship with love between the two. Eric's relationship is all about Donna getting his flag flying and having fun. He comes across as an old coot while Donna typifies the sex kitten with little on the brain other than the next pickle ball match and how "mean" nasty Quinn is to Donna's honey bear. Ugh!

They could hang Donna portrait over the fireplace in those undies …

Wouldn't surprise me.
