Thomas and Consequences

Yes, she does. It's as if she doesn't recognize the very clear signs that her son is more than troubled, and that this will continue unless something serious, real and lasting is done about it. While Sheila is the only one responsible for choosing to pull the trigger in that alley, Thomas could have prevented the shooting by coming forward. Then there would have been no reason for his sister to go and confront Sheila. I'm thinking that Steffy didn't talk to him first because unlike her parents, she's probably come to terms with the fact her brother will almost always be dishonest and manipulative, even if it's at her expense. I wish the show would address this as it concerns Steffy and Thomas, because ever since he came back following Caroline's death, Thomas has caused problems for Steffy. Then there's the problems he's caused for Brooke by not coming forward. Brooke had been trying to get to the bottom of what compelled her to drink, not knowing she'd been targeted by Sheila. Instead of Thomas sparing Brooke the aggravation, he teams up with Steffy to interfere in her marriage by taking what happened between her and Deacon out of context. What if Sheila had continued to target Brooke well after the new year started, by escalating in stealthy attacks on her? What would Thomas have done then? And how exactly would Tridge be explaining it away, especially if Brooke or someone else in her home had gotten hurt behind it all?

Good questions.

I guess the show needs some characters who are on the evil side. Bell seems to have Thomas in that role.

Liam to Hope. Debate over.
