And no one will be allowed to question Steffy buying a baby days after Hope and Liam’s child “died”. Bell will have them all think it’s healing and wonderful. But it’s not a good look. It’s creepy.

It's just really bad. Definitely not healing for Hope. Steffy being selfish...first for wanting a "baby" for Kelly and not considering Kelly's father's feelings either, who just lost a full-term child.

Its a horrible story line and i havent watched it since Hope entered the clinic and passed out. That was the last scene I watched. I know its a soap opera and fiction but boy its hard watching such a tragedy of losing a baby when a few hours before she felt her. Now Steffy adopting a baby girl after Hope just loses a child. Worst story line ever and I stopped taping it. I am done with it!! Love love love Hope and I know she will make the BEST mom some day!!

But the reunion. :happy

I won't say I am a big fan of this storyline, but this is good drama, and it could have been worse. Beth's could have been killed off for good, like a lot of other babies before her. Hope could have banged her husband's father and he could be saying he hates her, like he told Steffy. This is usually what tears married couples apart. Or Lope could have had a drama free delivery and be in the backburner, like a lot of new parents after they have a child.

I prefer seeing this, even if this is a bit creepy. They are front and center, everyone is sorry for them, and they don't look bad. If Reese indeed stole the baby, then they are 100% the victims, they have done nothing wrong. And yes, reunion will be awesome. Hope is suffering now, Steffy will get a good dose too, when it comes out.

Why would they question Steffy, everyone knows she plans to adopt a sister for Kelly because she wants her to have that bond with her sister that Steffy had growing up. Hope made sure that Steffy knew her child was going to be used as a weapon between them and Kelly. Hope's child was not going to be allowed to have that sisterly bond. I can understand that Steffy did not want Kelly to be disappointed each time that Hope decided that they couldn't spend time together as a family. So she was taking selfish Hope out of the equation and making her own family. Just because Hope lost a child the world doesn't end. If you follow Hope's lead from the past it was not big deal with Steffy lost her child and business as usual for Hope. Sorry if Hope's feelings will be hurt but she played a starring role in why Steffy is adopting. Apparently Taylor was stable enough to even be in Kelly life so Hope didn't want Kelly in her childs life but taylor is good enough to go and prop Hope up with all the love an attention Hope is used to getting.

The timing isn't right. The character is hardly 30, she has years to get knocked up by another man or even adopt another child. But she wants to do it one week after the father of her child and her stepsister went through this. This is the problem. She is kicking Hope when she is down. :whistle

Sorry the timing isn't right for Hope but she has never cared about timing for Steffy. Steffy was being discharged from the hospital after losing her baby and Hope was already starting multiple discussions with family members about getting back with Liam now that the baby was gone. Did Hope care about her timing to marry Liam when her stepsister Steffy was near giving birth?. No.
Women these days do not have to wait to get knocked up in order to have a child nor do they wait to adopt because the timing is not right for someone else. Babies up for adoption do not come around everyday..

Steffy Adopts a Baby

Steffy moves forward with her plans to give Kelly a sister, and plans to adopt a baby girl. Taylor is instrumental in putting the plan in motion after meeting Reece’s friend, Flo, who has adoption experience. She feels her friendship with reeece couldn’t have come at a better time. She can turn to him for advice and sympathy.

When Flo meets Steffy they hit it off. Flo thinks Steffy is beautiful, successful and a good mom. The total package.

This is going to be unwatchable and hurlworthy. This is a story that some people will despise, including myself It seems that when it comes to babies, even fictional, that people become uncomfortable. This story has to wrap up quickly.

It’s nasty, even for bold. Steffy will hold Hope’s baby before Hope. Introduce Liam to his daughter. All while Hope is devastated and thinks her baby is dead.

And no one will be allowed to question Steffy buying a baby days after Hope and Liam’s child “died”. Bell will have them all think it’s healing and wonderful. But it’s not a good look. It’s creepy.

There is absolutely no guarantee that Kelly and her adopted sister will be close and have a special bond. Not all brothers and sisters are close.

So Steffy should not give her daughter an opportunity to have a sister to grow up with? Steffy believes as does everyone else that Kelly's half-sister has died. Hope told her that Taylor's presence would keep Hope and Beth from being close and I'm guessing that would apply to any of Hope's future children. Steffy needs to do what she feels is best for her family just as Hope did for hers.

Excuse me but no where in my post do I say Steffy should not give her daughter an opportunity to grow up with a sister. No where do I post Steffy shouldn't adopt. Don't know where they came from. Read my post. I said adopting does that mean they will be close. Steffy wants them to be like her and Phoebe. They were twins. Twins have a special connection.

HOGWASH as for as I am concerned that Hope had ANYTHING to do with Steffy's decision.
Steffy wants another baby girl just so she can give Kelly that warm and fuzzy feeling that Steffy says she had with Phoebe. Well bully for her. I am not against that but she does not have to do it so fast, and do it like most other people would. Get married, have a baby the regular way. The timing is way off, having no consideration for Hope or Liam's feelings who have just lost their baby. If I were Steffy I'd crawl back in my hole and leave them alone. As some one just pointed out on this board Liam will be picking up Beth at Steffy's and Steffy pick up Beth before her own mother, Hope, does. Awful drama.

Definitely not looking forward to this storyline alone.....not even considering there is Reese and Taylor hanging around.

Wanda

I would have preferred that Lope have their baby and the happy little family get backburned for a very long time so I'm not happy either.
I don't think that you can go adopt a baby like people adopt pets in a shelter. They aren't always available. Sure Steffy can say no and hope that another one becomes available for adoption when it is more palatable for Hope but why should she say no to an opportunity to give a child a home that she believes needs one? Would Hope turn it down if she were in Steffy's place? I doubt it.

Still think this is just another tactic to impress Liam and guilt trip him, and eventually snag him back to her bed. If she wants a baby, all she has to do is find her own damn man and screw him. But that twit only wants children with Hopes husband. And thinks her chances will increase if she is rising 2 babies while Hope lost hers. Very nasty for sure... :roll

She's got to pull all the ammunition out because she thinks that is what it will take. That picture didn't stay up on the wall because she has moved on. She's as weak as she's ever been and now she is going to adopt another baby for her nanny to take care of.

I think this whole storyline is contrived and problematic. Not only do I take issue with the awful timing of this but I feel uncomfortable with Steffy's reasoning behind it- replacement sister for Kelly so she would have a sibling her age to grow up with. And then of course the Phoebe factor here wherein she tries to relive her sisterly bond through Kelly and her new sister. All of this seems unhealthy to me. Maybe Steffy should first seek therapy to deal with her unresolved feelings regarding Phoebe's death and only then consider expanding her family.

It's just a hot mess all around.

I agree. The need for Steffy to adopt a baby is ridiculous and the reasons behind it suggests that she's filling a void of something she's lacking...seems less to do with Kelly, than it does something for herself.

Let's be real. Steffy's reasons or how she deals with it is not important. This is just another storyline to prop Lope, since (as per usual) "we were robbed!" will make it's long awaited return!!

That is what makes me tired of this pairing. Too many other people are needed and are being thrown under the bus to keep them relevant. And what better way to keep the suspension close by to make Steffy adopt a baby? Who happens to be Beth? :surprised

Just let them keep that darned baby, and let other people out of it from now on!!

Stephie could HAVE a baby, she is young, healthy, just gave birth to a healthy baby less then a year ago. Watching criminally insane Taylor and creepy Reese, and some woman who thinks just because Stephie is BEAUTIFUL she gets a new born baby placed in her arms, no QUESTIONS asked, hold and care for Beth, while Hope is devastated is unwatchable. Doc Taylor spouting out her psychologist mumbo jumbo, using her low doctors voice, bobbing her head, throwing her hair, her jazz hands, also unwatchable.

As many have predicted this vile story is just getting worse and worse. Will all the Forresters think this is a capital idea when Hope and Liam just lost a baby? I can only imagine the vomitous moments ahead. And Reece the criminal is being praised and loved.

I understand a soap needing drama but this is twisted and extremely despicable.

Who wants to bet when all is said and done Reece will be the only one to "pay" for this mess.

Thanks for the warning Twigs. Still not safe to watch this sludge factory.

They will, but until then it’s just a way to shove Steffy up in Hope and Liam’s baby storyline. And not just put her in it, but give her the baby. She holds her first. She introduces her to Liam, her FATHER, and Hope, her MOTHER. Stealing those precious firsts. It’s twisted and speaks to the Steffy obsession of this show. I’m completely exhausted by this show eating character. It’s been years of her dominating the show.

I just don’t care about Steffy. The show was never better than those few Steffy free days.

I do think this is JMWs exit storyline. Wayne Brady is here for this arc only, and Hunter doesn’t appear to have a contract. The question is, does Steffy leave canvas with Hope’s child or not?

JMW won't go anywhere. She filmed many scenes so eventually her absence will be for a couple of weeks, without great changes in the storyline (Just like Heather Tom or KKL did before her).
KM left for a couple of months because Bell was planning an offscreen split for Raya, but JMW will be on the show, unless the actress decides otherwise.

Exactly. Liam and Hope will never have any of those firsts or the special bonding with Beth. How does B&B think it is a good storyline to compound this loss by having Steffy get Beth and having all of those firsts?!? Your post and comments about Steffy introducing Beth to her father and mother was spot on. Steffy in another storyline with Liam and Hope and then a victim when Beth goes back to Liam and Hope...not interested at all. If they consider this as part of the continual conflict between Hope and Steffy, as with the clothing lines or whatever, it isn't...this is taking it too far and is not good drama to me.

I’m not sure who this storyline will appeal to honestly. The one good thing though is Annika Noelle has been stellar and it’s nice to see her get to show how very talented she is after the crap she’s had to put up with on social media.

If, as speculated, Beth is alive, that's fine and dandy. However, Hope and Liam, but especially Hope, will never be able to get back all those special first moments of bonding with their little girl. Of Hope holding her against her heart, counting all the fingers and toes, of breathing in that scent that's unique to just her baby. Of cradling her while she sleeps in Hope's arms, just watching her breathe. Hope can get none of that back because it was stolen from her by a despicable creature who deserves to be tarred and feathered and dumped off the nearest pier as shark bait IMO. :whistle

Or why should Zoe pay for his debts? If he's so worried about his daughter, why isn't he offering up his own sorry hide in payment? Perhaps because there's a yellow streak running down his back? :whistle

Zoe shouldn't have to pay. He should know you can't keep putting off loan sharks.

Ridge STOLE all those moments from Thomas, now Reese AND Taylor will steal those moments from Hope and Liam. Taylor the criminally insane holding and caring for Beth is disgusting in so many ways. Will Taylor ACCIDENTALLY harm or kill Beth when she finds out the truth, you know not on purpose just by ACCIDENT, like the other TWO deaths she already caused.

Why not? Ridge was blamed for Taylor killing Bill. She failed thanks to Katie. And everything is blamed on Hope. Taylor has been spouting crazy nonsense since she came back. Let’s just see what she does when she finds out the truth, which she will

Technically, that's true. This speculated criminal act is all on Reese and naturally, anyone who may have assisted him. If Taylor can be blamed for any part of this, it's for inadvertently giving Reese the idea of adoption. His backside is in a loan shark's sights and he needs to find a great deal of cash to pay off his debt and Taylor told him she's willing to pay mega bucks to obtain a baby for Steffy. Plus Zoe is being threatened so Reese sees Hope's baby as a means to an end. Also, given Taylor's hatred of all things Logan, Reese may see it as a way of somehow helping Taylor. Difficult to tell. I think the man's mind is as twisted as Taylor's. :neutral

She’s not to blame at all. Reese’s motivation for all this is to keep those thugs from coming after him and Zoe. It’s his fault that any of this happens not Taylor’s.

I don’t know if it was more than one thug or not cause I FFWD a lot . I thought you were saying it was one thug. It’s all good. As for Reese, he put himself in this situation by gambling or whatever it is he does. Hope, Liam, Steffy, and Taylor shouldn’t be dragged into this but that’s exactly what he’s doing.

I get that it's hard to watch for some. But I can't wait. Beth is alive and that's going to be revealed. And then Hope and Liam will be reunited with her. :happy

But Hope is going through a living hell right now. She didn't get to hold her baby with Liam for the first time. She isn't bonding with her. She is missing out on so much. Steffy has a beautiful picture of her holding her baby for the first time at the hospital, Hope and Liam will never have that.

Florence immediately thinks Steffy is wonderful. Flo thinks Steffy is beautiful, successful and a good mom. The total package.

Flo would hit it off with anybody and think they are wonderful, successful and a good mom if they were going to give her $200,000. I didn't include beautiful because you don't have to be beautiful to be a good mom.

This is why in REAL life you have INTERVIEWS with social workers, who aren't fooled by a pretty face and a whole bunch of money, who ask PERTINENT questions, and BACKGROUND checks, of every one that baby will be in permanent contact with, even the woman who is Kelly's nanny. I have been interviewed four times, as long as you answer truthfully and are honest no problems. Don't see Taylor being able to be questioned by ANY authority and being TRUTHFUL.

I think the bottom line here is when you BUY a baby, not many questions will be asked except for can you make cash or a cashier's check?

This is going to be so crappy to watch. Steffy gets all of Hope's first with Beth. The faster this part of the story concludes the better. Steffy cannot even wean herself from a man that loves another woman. What is she going to do with two babies? Lord knows they don't need Taylor's influence.
