Has Sheila changed?

If today is any indication, it appears Sheila’s redemption is definitely in the works. I like KB a lot, she is a great actress and if anyone can pull off the changed Sheila storyline it’s her! However, after the continued reluctance to see Thomas as redeemed, I have to wonder if it’s even possible for most viewers. Thoughts anyone? I’m truly curious!

I think redemption is in the eye of the beholder and in the pen of the writer. If the writer writes it and the viewer doesn't believe it, then the viewer will have an eye-rolling experience as they watch or tune out. It's been happening for decades.

That said, Sheila is redeemed. Whether I like it or not, so is Thomas.

I get your point and i agree to some degree. I don't agree Thomas is redeemed too...I don't think it's the case writers redeemed him and i don't buy it...it's different case from Sheila.
Sheila has been written consistently behaving good even if provoked and attacked and called names.
Thomas not. He was being praised by all and rewarded with his obsession, no need to scheme. But when he was tested, he failed. He failed because confessed about Emma death night only when Xander was back to tell the truth and still hid the fact he had a major part in her death, hightailing her and hitting her bumpers. He hid the fact he could call rescue and he didnt and the fact that he was happy she died. And also he added, lying, that there were no more secrets now between him and Hope. I dont think the writers were saying he was redeemed with that storyline.
