Has Sheila changed?

If today is any indication, it appears Sheila’s redemption is definitely in the works. I like KB a lot, she is a great actress and if anyone can pull off the changed Sheila storyline it’s her! However, after the continued reluctance to see Thomas as redeemed, I have to wonder if it’s even possible for most viewers. Thoughts anyone? I’m truly curious!

Only time will tell, but I will give Bell points for not rushing this. Since cutting off her toe close to two years ago, she really hasn't done anything.
no scheming,
no scenes of her plotting to herself.
She saved Kelly and didn't even get a thank you.
When Finn demanded she stay away, she did.
Didn't seek revenge against Bill or Ridge.
She was going to walk out on Deacon to not ruin his relationship with Hope.

She has been minding her business, painting her toes and waiting tables. And then he did this. And irl an event like this really could change someone. Some folks will never accept it, and that's fine. Some will be okay with it in time, and some are already fans.

The thing with Thomas is a lot of fans were willing to accept his change but wouldn't take him with Hope because of his past obsession with her. If they put Sheila with Eric, I would want them to throw the whole thing away. I like Thomas, and I know lots of Thomas fans who were not on board with Thope because they were afraid he would be hurt & revert.

After cutting her toe, didn't Sheila blackmail Steffy and Finn with the Bill shooting in order to escape justice? Didn't she also trespass into Sinn's cliffhouse and held Hayes? Didn't the saving Kelly situation happened because she was stalking Finn? I wouldn't say Sheila was doing "nothing", she was still being shady.

Rushed or not, Bell had to know that this would be hard pill to swallow for many fans. Using Finn, the son, she committed horrific acts against, to rehabilitate Sheila would turn fans against him. This story helps Sheila but it ruins Finn. Finn looks incredibly stupid for being this trusting, being this vulnerable and not having his guard up when it comes to Sheila.

If the point was to redeemed Sheila, they needed to keep Finn out of it, because as of now, it can be interpreted that he's betraying both Steffy and Li, and he will be imploding his marriage and his life, for the woman that shot him and his wife, and drove his adoptive mother off a cliff. Are we supposed to be happy that Finn is risking his most treasured valued relationships for Sheila? Are we meant to be rooting for Finn here? I say that as a big fan of his.

But after Sheila saved Kelly's life many months ago, she did nothing. She didn't go near the cliff house, she was minding her own business being in love with Deacon and doing her job. And it wasn't her fault that Kelly's playdate's mother just had to take the kids to where Sheila worked to get pizza. And Steffy heard them talking about pizza, yet she didn't bother to warn the other mother to take the kids anywhere EXCEPT Deacon's restaurant.

So really for months prior to Steffy stabbing Suger, it was ALL violent bully Steffy who went to Sheila's home and assaulted her TWICE, poked the bear and triggered her, yet Sheila didn't retaliate that night it was Suger. Not to mention, Li was shown at Sheila's work place assaulted her too and Sheila didn't retaliate either. LOL.

To be honest, I couldn't care less that Steffy and Li have attacked Sheila. Is it smart? No, you should not poke the bear, but I get their absolutely rage to want to see her suffer for what she's done to them. I wish Finn had the same rage and hatred as them and he wouldn't be as easily manipulated and would have the desire to want to see Sheila go down. Finn has been her biggest victim since she's return, and he should be written as wanting nothing to do with her and he should not be used as a sacrificial lamb in her redemption story.

In that case, I couldn’t care less that Sheila shot Steffy either given the fact Steffy herself has shot Sheila too. Not to mention, it was stupid Steffy that went to poked the bear in the alley that got her shot in the first place.

And Finn is not a vindictive/mean person like his violent bully wife. I don’t blame him for choosing to believe Sheila has changed after learning all the latest details about Sugar, and that Sheila was trying to stop Sugar from harming Steffy and the kids.

I find it hypocritical that Steffy expects Finn to accept her psycho family and believe that evil Thomas has ”changed”, but she can’t even be grateful that Sheila saved Kelly’s life and is trying to better herself.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
