The "real" reason? What on earth is this that they're cooking up now? She's told anyone who will listen from her mother, to Steffy, to Liam that she loves (always present tense) Thomas. Whatever this "real" reason is it better make sense. It would be nice if it was something that could clearly be overcome. I won't pretend that I'm not concerned though.

Maybe she'll say it wouldn't be right for Beth to have to live with him.

That would definitely make sense IMO and showed she hasn't fully lost her damn mind after all. LOL.

Shown on screen, Steffy blackmailed Bill. Yet, she told Ivy (and Liam too) that “blackmail is a crime”. Per Steffy’s own words, she IS a criminal cuz she has blackmailed.
