I always thought that Finn and maybe Bridgette were going to do research and somehow save the day with Eric. However if the diagnosis is cancer not so confident anymore that will happen.

Cancer is not incurable. We'll just have to see. He might need a lung transplant. I just had a cousin who did that. She had to have a family match. Eric is not young and probably did not want to ask a family member for this. Maybe it's possible or maybe it's too dangerous -- or maybe it's B&B.

Oh wow, a lung transplant for lung cancer? That seems like a real possibility. I didn't know it was possible. And yes his age would play a role or he might not have been willing to look for a donor.

My mother-in-law died from lung cancer ( long before our marriage) but it is so nice to see how far treatment has come.

Let me be clear. IDK if she got a transplant for cancer. My family has been really out of the loop about it because her mother and my uncle are divorced, and my uncle died. They dropped the bomb on me that my cousin had a lung transplant, the lung given by someone on her maternal side of the family. TMI, but my family is always very weird and hush-hush about stuff, so I have no idea what disease she had or even how to get in touch with her to see if she's okay. My mom said she is, but I don't know if it was from cancer. I'm just saying a lung transplant is possible.
