Naming Eric’s ailment is important

I agree. It is one thing to have a riveting story line, but if you are going to hook a illness or disease onto it, with people at home maybe having some of the same symptoms, then by golly you better do better than this and not confuse us all the time.

I am not too concerned with the tremors, old age can bring that on, but coughing up blood is not normal and Eric should be worried about that. Just not eating much is not the cause of that. And if he is remiss in not eating a good diet, then Donna needs to make him more smoothies and a doctor put him on some diet he can handle.

And that doctor worries me too. He does not speak up enough to give us a clue if he knows what he is doing. He just pops in and pops out. And he lets Eric pooh pooh everything he says when he does say anything.

Time to bring in Finn and Bridget.

I thought the doctor might be behind Eric's illness, but today he wanted Eric in the hospital for tests, and I don't think he'd want that if he were behind Eric's illness. So, I've ruled out the doctor. I still think it's an allergy or a medication interaction.
