There was a shift a year ago when Hope was told to sit down and shut up about the whole "sweet husband" thing. Didn't she stay home one night alone waiting for Liam to come home but instead of coming home he played house with Steffy and Kelly? "They needed and wanted me there for....." That could be why she allowed all the "family" dinners over at Erics when Douglas was living with Thomas. That is probably when she started seeing Thomas is a better light.

If that's the case, I don't understand why she wasn't defending Thomas when everybody else was against him for the CPS call. And I don't understand then why she would try to take Douglas from him and get full custody, only to end up with steffy having the child. If she was viewing Thomas better for that long.
