This is a soap where characters annual and divorce all the time. So if she wanted him all along and is “bored” with her marriage,, why didn’t she just end her marriage long ago? It would certainly be HER decision and not Liam’s..to just ended many weeks ago and banged Thomas many times over already. Makes no sense to me at all. Certainly nobody put a gun to her head forcing her to stay in her marriage all these past several months.

Because she knows it flies in the face of her personal reputation and professional image.

But I think she's done worrying about that now. That's what she meant by the "gilded cage" comment.

She’ll just be like all the other female characters no worries about morals, principles and values. Anything goes now.

Nah. I think they're writing it that she really does have feelings for Thomas. There's nothing immoral about that. She just wants better for herself than to share her husband with someone else. She'll still be the same Hope.
