I disagree, I absolutely disagree. Hope didn’t ask for these feelings and she has been actively fighting them all this time. She let herself go and got caught up in a moment/day. Now I don’t agree with the lying but I think she deserves some grace and empathy. This is a woman who has been struggling and unfortunately didn’t get the help needed.

I feel bad for her, she didn’t set out to destroy her life but that’s what she did.

She kissed Thomas she didn’t sleep with him and clearly she came back ready to resume her life.

Ewww. She came back ready to resume her life? Everything is wrong with that. As for actively fighting her feelings? I disagree. Actively fighting her feelings would have involved distancing herself from Thomas, seeking professional help and keeping her husband close.
