I will agree with one thing. Yes this will have to be in Scott's Emmy reel for this year....as well as more to come.

I disagree that Liam should have left Rome when he did and come back home to confront Hope here. What happened in Rome did not have to stay in Rome. Strike while the iron is hot, not later when both Hope and Thomas would have time to make up their matching stories. Of course Thomas was more or less innocent in this, he responded to the kisses but he did not push himself on Hope or instigate them. But back here would have given the kids more time to accidentally come upon the scene of their mom and dad talking, fighting, etc. and make matters worse.

Hope has had her fantasies and acted foolishly all along the way. today was no different. She knew she was caught dead to rights, yet she stood there and let him squeeze every single ounce of juice out of her. She did not want to say no she was not alone, but turned it around to how if Liam did not see the preview etc. how did he see her at all. Again while he was dragging it out in bits and pieces she KNEW he had seen her, she KNEW also that it was at the coluseum and finally that she was not alone. He was DETERMINED to make her say it, make her admit it and still her eyes darted around, acting confused like he must be mistaken.

Now what we don't know is what happened AFTER the kiss. Liam should have waited for that. Did Hope and Thomas go back to their rooms and more happen there or did they part. Liam might have liked to know that instead of what he is obviously thinking. This still gives Hope the time and opportunity to make up or fill in what she wants now.

Now if Liam is finally a man and going to act like one, he needs to get both Thomas and Hope face to face with him in same room and duke this out.

I disagree. He doesn’t need to get both Thomas and Hope. Liam is nothing special. He can confront his wife. What is he King Liam and he calls them to his chambers? Thomas needs to sock him. Liam has always had one woman hanging on a string waiting for Liam to get tired of the other or a mistake is made
Liam should have near nothing to say considering his own past
