You are not alone, and I think there may be many of us who take a break if Hope goes there with Thomas. I know this viewer will.

For some of us, it will ruin her forever.... because it will tantamount to her spitting right in Beth's face.

Now you know how some Steffy fans felt when she slept with Bill. And how some Liam fans felt after the mannequin story. And how some Taylor fans felt when the shooter was revealed. I spit right in my own face after these 3 events. The bus is coming for every characters at some point. The writers don't care.

I get what you are saying and respect it, but at least Steffy had a sexually charged history with Bill going back before she even was with Liam. And Liam had been married to Steffy 3 times before, in consummated real marriage, when he cheated on Hope, and as lame as the reason was, there was a reason, he thought she was cheating herself. The Taylor thing was out of left field and was not right. I loathe Taylor and have always viewed her as a sanctimonious hypocrite who killed Darla while drunk, but to shoot Bill in the back, sober, and then leave town...was bad writing and harmed the character. But, they did not care because they did not care about the actress that played the character. JMO. Hope has no reason to be pulling the stunt she is pulling now. They have given us no explanation. Liam has not done anything that she has caught him doing to send her over the edge. Tom is scum who harmed her mother and abused their son. Hope was married to him and could not stand him touching her. So, this makes no sense at all, and has not been set up properly at all.....it reeks of the writers being so desperate they are grasping for any SL they can think of, because everything else has hit a brick wall. Add to all of that.....in no soap opera I have ever watched has a woman thrown away a solid marriage to take up with the man that abused her children, and wanted one of them to be be permanently dead. IMO that makes Tom forever unacceptable as a partner for Hope. They could have had her cheat with Wyatt, or Lope break up and she ends up with Carter. But to put her with the man that wished her child was dead is beyond awful.....and not even soapy....just sick stuff.
