Destroying the Hope I always liked and rooted for......all for some kind of sick oh I'm all of the sudden gonna be like my mother BS.....Thomas is not a bad boy they made him into a psycho that has done some extremely deplorable and unspeakable things that if you watch this show then you have to have seen it all. There will be no one left for me to root for so I'll probably be tuning back out if they follow through with this puke worthy SL.

That's the worst part about this storyline. The only way Hope will be "like her mother" is if Brooke and Ridge get back together and Hope ends up sleeping with Ridge. Or if Beth finds a boyfriend and Hope accidentally sleeps with him. That's why Brooke was famous: for interfering in marriage and for sleeping with in-laws. Hope can't do that. Even if she wanted to, she couldn't.

2 things Brooke has never done:
1) Falling for another man and fantasizing about him when she is with Ridge.
2) Falling for someone who hurt her the way Thomas hurt Hope.

Brooke never really cheated on Ridge outside of that ONS with Nick when Ridge was presumed dead. She definitely never started fantasizing about another dude when she was with Ridge. And the worst guys she had the hots for (Deacon, Bill, Nick) never kept a baby from her or chased her for so many years.

These "I don't want to be like my mom" thoughts make Hope look even worse. She desperately needs to blame someone for her feelings and Brooke is the ideal scapegoat.

I would have a little sympathy for her if she stopped interacting with Thomas completely (unless they must talk about something urgent about Douglas), and if she made an effort to try to understand why she feels this way about Thomas. Instead, she continues to spend unnecessary time with him and fantasize. She does nothing to figure out what's happening.

The other part that really bothers me is her lack of honesty and her hypocrisy. She always demands absolute transparency when it comes to Liam's feelings for Steffy. Even if it was hurtful to hear, Liam told her from the beginning that he will always love both women. Every time she has asked him if he loves Steffy, he has said yes. Hope still wanted to marry him, fine. But when she is in the same shoes, she can't show the same honesty in return. When Thomas returned from NY, kissed her, proposed to her and said he wanted her to adopt Douglas and make a family with him, Hope never told Liam the truth. He had to learn it from Wyatt (who learnt it from Sally). When she made out with Wyatt the day before her wedding, she never told Liam the truth. Now when Liam and Brooke asked if she wants to talk about something about Thomas, she avoided the subject. She doesn't have to tell Liam she was thinking about Thomas when they had sex, but he deserves to know what's on her mind and why she keeps forgiving Thomas... just like she knows about his own feelings for Steffy.

If Hope stops blaming her mother, stops working with Thomas, tells Liam the truth and tries to understand what's happening, I may have a little sympathy from her. Right now it's impossible. All I see is a lying, emotional cheater, giant hypocrite who rewards the guy who kept her baby from her and puts him above her daughter and her marriage.

Yup, yup and yup. ;-)
