That article is from December. I doubt anyone (not even Don) knew what Bell had in mind for Shill. Maybe he changed his mind, maybe it was the plan all along, we will never know.

So many viewers on this forum (and other pages) were so sure they would rewrite Bill's shooting and make someone else the shooter. But that didn't happen.

Yeah, they did, but that wasn't based upon anything any actors said. I took DD's words to mean what they meant back then and based my opinion of the SL on that. I guess I can't listen to actors anymore.

I've learnt that over the last year too. Most of the times they say stuff that simply didn't happen or isn't factual. Maybe they're told to embellish things to keep the audience engaged.

Also, at least from what I recall with the Clifton interview, the stuff had already been filmed and was just playing out at the time of his first and then second interview. There wasn't any time for any rewrite then. I don't recall when (and admittedly did not go back to look) at when Bill's interview took place.
