Steffy didn't count on her own brother sabotaging her sabotage and abusing his son to do it.
Love that they are turning on one another. It's about time these two learned they are not God like their mother thinks she is.
And Steffy is finding out that her Mommy isn't the pillar of honesty she claims she is.

Yup, that's just what happened. Little toady Thomas blew up Steffy's parent trap. Not that it would have worked anyway, without the CPS call.

I don’t know that it wouldn’t have worked over a longer period of time without the CPS call. In fact I don’t know that Tridge wouldn’t have reunited all on their own with no input at all from Steffy or Thomas, with Taylor just being there. Bridge are constantly separating and reuniting for one perceived reason or another, and Ridge would like nothing better than to have someone else to run to the next time.

Taylor has "just been there" as you say for 16 years now. Ridge and Brooke have broken up and gotten back together countless times during that period. But not once has Ridge turned to her even though she has made it more than clear she never got over him. I don't see why he would have turned to her this time except to shut his kids nonstop yammering about wanting Mommy and Daddy together. That's basically what he has done this time anyway.
