Reason I think Ridge will Dtay with Taylor

I am out of sequence.
Taylor and Rick were dating. Phoebe caught them. They broke up. Phoebe harassed Rick. She died in the accident. Ridge started using pills. Steffy and Rick started dating. Brooke and Ridge had issues. Ridge & Taylor had sex. This clip Steffy acts like she barely knows Rick
I’ll go back and look.

That was the irony of the SL - Steffy ignoring her father's wishes regarding Rick and so ending up with Steffy's mother, and Steffy still kept doing what Ridge hates, but Taylor and Steffy for while still gained and had their dream of the TRIDGE "family" back.

Ridge had ended up taking pills and at Taylor's place, because he had been upset that Steffy gave Rick a second chance even after the tape record.

TRIDGE had sex thanks to Ridge self-medicating, and then Brooke told him to be with his family to heal.

In that episode, Ridge, Taylor and Thomas would like Steffy to give Marcus another chance, thinking Marcus is a better guy than Rick, while Steffy still defends Rick here -
but TRIDGE go to the bedroom and kiss and end up in bed.

But some months later we had Steffy mentioning to Marcus that her relationship with Rick had fizzled out because of the issues between the families.
