Grounds for an annulment in California

Which one of these does Ridge plan to use? A quickie divorce makes more sense than an annulment.

Underage spouse

Bigamy

Fraud and deception

Threatening and forcing a person to marry

Insanity

Inability to consummate the marriage

Incest

Not sure why anyone is susprised after what happened to Hope and Liam in 2019. She pretty much threw annulment papers in her grieving husband's face and married Thomas a week later. She had zero ground for annulment, but no one questionned it. Liam signed the papers and the marriage was dissolved like it never happened.

At least in this case Ridge can always use the deception ground. He thinks Brooke deceived Thomas and lied to him. That's still a weak reason, but if Hope could annul Liam because she thought her daughter was dead, Ridge can definitely annul Brooke... At least the writers are consistent with this.

Ridge cannot use Brooke deceiving his SON as a reason for RIDGE to get out of a marriage. Ridge has to be the one deceived and the deception has to be the basis for the marriage.

Liam and Hope are not the only people who annulled a marriage. I think Liam and Steffy did it once or twice even and Ridge annulled his marriage to Taylor. I want to say Thorne annulled his to Katie. What about Wyatt and Steffy? I can't remember.
