That Weird Phone Call

There were so many things wrong with all of this. I've never heard of a CPS consulting service so that was odd. What was even stranger is that he had access to specific case files. Even if a consulting firm that works with CPS was such a thing, I seriously doubt they'd have unfettered access to sensitive case information. I can also assure 100% that those investigators couldn't have gotten back to the office, typed up their report, and gotten the ok from their supervisor to officially close the case in that short amount of time. That was all soap opera magic. That phone call though. What was that? It didn't sound like the voice app because the app sounded less robotic than that. I'm not sure what exactly they did their. Nonetheless I don't understand this decision. If that really was supposed to be the Thomas and that app, are we really supposed to feel bad for Brooke. She flipped out unnecessarily and way overreacted. She brought up CPS in the first place but we're supposed to have sympathy because she didn't place call? Nice try but Brooke's hands aren't clean in this. She walked into someone else's home, overreacted, provoked a fight, and then threatened to call CPS. Just because she's going to lose her husband doesn't make her a victim. If she hadn't been so adamantly opposed to Thomas stepping up more, she and Ridge wouldn't be at odds and he would more confused and less livid at this moment. Brooke set up her own undoing. I just wish she'd made the call so she wouldn't have an excuse. Maybe they're trying to recreate 2006 so Ridge can make the right choice this time and not abandon Taylor.

Taker, I appreciate that you started the thread that it was one weird call. Thank you. Because that was one weird call. It sounded robotic, I mean, not even like it was a real person at all. If she had not said "Brooke Logan" I am not sure Ridge would have been able to even accuse her of it. Of course, we know now, he cannot accuse her of it, because he promised Walter he would not tell the person that called. So, if it is Tom, Ridge is just going to run out on Brooke and head to Aspen to tell her he loves her and is dumping Brooke, without telling Brooke first. That is really messed up. I get the impression that Bill is just going to tell her that Steffy went to Aspen. Anyway, if Tom did this, than yes, we are suppose to feel sorry for Brooke because yet again, she is his victim. She deserves our sympathy because it will mean that her being afraid of him and believing he has not changed, is correct.
