Did Steffy really just say Taylor would never ever cheat?

Taylor fully believed she wasn't going to live to see another day. She expected to die and that would just be it. She wasn't carrying on a affair with James. While Brooke only kissed Bill, you did remind me that she technically cheated on Ridge with Nick because minutes after he was presumed dead she slept with his brother at the very spot where he was believed to have died. Most people don't grieve their husbands by screwing his brother, just saying.

Taylor said she'd be faithful until she died, but when she boinked James, she was STILL ALIVE.

It's amazing to me that Brooke is a cheater because she thinks her husband is dead, but Taylor can't be a cheater because she thinks she's about to be dead. What's the excuse for Hector?
