She slept with Eric when they both were drunk while supposedly committed to Ridge resulting in Bridget = cheating and paternity test
She slept with Nick a nano second after her husband “died” = technically cheating and paternity test

Ridge and Brooke weren't together when she slept with Eric. And Stephanie forged a fake letter with Eric's signature, making it look like they were back together. That's the only reason why Brooke and Ridge cheated... always manipulations.

If her mistake with Nick is considered cheating, then Ridge cheated on Taylor with Brooke thousands of times for years.

FACT is Brooke pursued Ridge all her life and only got him by default after His first choices Caroline and Taylor died.
If Ridge wanted Brooke he could have married her after she miscarried the child he didn’t want. Instead he married Caroline
If Ridge wanted Brooke he could have married her when Bridget was thought his. Instead he made sign BLF contract to oust her from FC then started working on his chosen family with Taylor.
If Ridge wanted Brooke he would have chosen her when her marriage to Grant was found illegal and Taylor had ended their engagement.
It’s not a NEW history. It’s back to the original story, erased to prop up Bridge.

His original first choice Caroline was married to him for less than 6 months. She can't be the love of his life when they were together for such a short period. And Ridge didn't choose Taylor over Brooke when Caroline died. Brooke was married to his father and while she still had feelings for Ridge, she decided to stay married to Eric. This was nothing more but bad timing for Ridge and Brooke. If Brooke was free and chasing Ridge after Caroline's death, he would have never decided to get involved with a new woman.

When Taylor came back from the dead in 1995, Ridge still chose Brooke. He waffled for a while but then he still annulled his marriage to Taylor and stayed with Brooke. He went back to Taylor much later. After Grant, his marriage to Brooke in 1998 was annulled because she deceived him about Thomas' paternity. This is the only time Ridge chose to marry Taylor when Brooke was still an option, and it had more to do with Brooke's lie about Thomas. If Thorne had been Thomas' father like Ridge initially thought, he would have never married Taylor. He chose Taylor because Bridget turned out to be Eric's and Thomas turned out to be his. Taylor had a child and Brooke was childless. After that, when both Brooke and Taylor had a child with him, he always chose Brooke and RJ over Taylor, Steffy, Thomas and Phoebe.
