Ridge leaves Brooke for Taylor...again. Liam overreacts to something innocent that happens between Thomas and Hope (probably about Douglas) and that's how Brooke and Liam wind up in bed. There's a reason why Liam and Brooke are sharing so many scenes together lately.

Bell has become much more careful about scandalous sex with totally inappropriate people in the last few years. Looks like he knows that today's viewers are far more likely to tune out than they used to be if their favorite character gets destroyed by crossing this line. If he didn't care about destroying Brooke and Liam, then he already would have had Brooke sleep with Deacon on NYE instead of just kissing him and he wouldn't have worked so hard to redeem Liam as Hope's loyal husband after his ONS with Steffy.
Believe what you want, but there are several other good reasons based on the current plot why Brooke and Liam have been sharing so many scenes lately.

That would be ludacris….doubt it"hard sel"
