Brooke Was So Far Out of Line

The only thing I disagree with is that Taylor is Douglas's biological grandmother. Brooke is his legal grandmother who used and manipulated him. Also Thomas has a right to revisit the custody agreement.

You disagree that Taylor is his bio grandma? But, you agree Brooke IS his legal grandma? Are you saying Taylor is nothing to him? Not sure what you mean. Tom does have a right to revisit the agreement, but IRL bio or adoptive is going to be the exact same thing to a judge. Hope has not given any reason, i.e. drugs, alcohol, improper conduct, etc. for a judge to amend the physical custody agreement. Tom has already stated he agreed to Hope having physical custody of Douglas under the court. I am guessing he and Hope share joint legal custody of Doug. Tom can go before a judge and ask for a Modification of Order on custody, but it is rarely awarded when it comes to changing physical custody. Since Hope currently has physical custody of Douglas, per a written court agreement, she has the right to have the child physically present in her home. She cannot deny Tom his joint custody rights, which is visitation, both of them decide together on Doug's schools, healthcare, etc. Again, Tom would have to present a case to the judge that shows why Hope is no longer competent or able to have physical custody of Doug. The court does not operate or decide on emotions or who is bio, who has adopted, or even whose family is Forrester and whose is not. Doug currently lives with a member of his dead mother's family. If a judge were to consider the argument that Doug needs to be with his father's family, he might look at it as, it is good for Douglas to be living with one of his mother's family members to help Douglas remember and know his dead mother better, and her family. This could swing either way of a judge were to actually go outside his purview and take family biology into consideration.

In some ways, if Douglas is left with Hope, this might help Brooke solidify her marriage to Ridge. The boys paternal grandfather would be living on the property too. There would then be no argument that Doug needs to live with his dad to know his Forrester family too. He would have a member of the Forrester family, and a member of the Spencer family around him at home.

If Brooke were as devious as Taylor she would be telling Ridge they should ask Tom to live with them, much like he is at Eric's. They have a pool, tennis courts, and basketball hoop too. LOL. That would put both of Doug's parents on the same property and he would have a set of grandparents on hand, his little sister his cousin Liam.

Excellent!

But you do realize that you make far too much sense. B&B rarely gets the legal stuff right, and I can see this becoming a sham in the courts. Taylor will be boo hooing about how much her baby has changed, and how much he now needs to be a father. And Hope will be dragged for something made up or some fantasy that Steffy and Taylor weave.

I don't see this ending well for Hope.
