Taylor & Steffy are the good girls

Yeah, I said it. And in my honest opinion, I think they are good, pure, kind and terrific. Douglas belongs with Thomas. Hope wouldn't even have now if she and Brooke hadn't manipulated Thomas when he was at his lowest darkest place. And Brooke smacking down Taylor for wanting Ridge? Well, karma..... How many occupied men hasn't Brooke snuggled up to over the past 35 years? Couldn't even keep her hands off her daughter's husband. She deserves it. She even pushed Hope on Liam when he was with Steffy. Those two demand that others respect them, but they've never respected anyone else their whole lives. If Taylor & Steffy are full of themselves, then there are no words to describe Hope & Brooke.

In my opinion, Steffy was never a "good girl". She always came across as the typical "high school mean girl bully" type to me. She is very often very confrontative and unpleasant. And she has an unbecoming superiority complex, perpetually acting like what she wants or needs is more important than what other people want or need. Case in point, her ridiculous crusade to reunite her parents who have not actually been together in, like, 15 years, while disregarding how that means breaking up the marriage of her younger brother's parents. She just doesn't strike me as a very nice or friendly person to be around.

Taylor it can be argued used to be a good person (from about 1992 to 2002). Perhaps not as good as she presented herself, and definitely morally flawed, but in general a person whose overall behavior was often kind and compassionate (although there were certainly exceptions). But post 2005, Taylor's character has been a complete mess and she has been neither good nor bad, but simply erratic. She just keeps doing random stupid things with sometimes catastrophic consequences. She never comes across as mean the way Steffy does, but her actions aren't consistent with goodness either (especially shooting Bill is one of those things there's just no getting around).

Compared to Brooke and Hope, I'd say Brooke is more like Steffy and Hope is more like Taylor. Like Steffy, Brooke just strikes me as a very unpleasant person as a whole, whereas Hope comes across as kinder but still with some morally questionable actions in her character history.

But I wouldn’t want any of these characters as a friend to be honest. And none of them actually seem to HAVE friends.
